Presenting an advanced module from the SMARC series, featuring Intel’s Core™ i, Pentium®, Celeron®, and Atom® x7000 processors. The SOM-2533 module boasts the capacity for up to 8 cores, translating to a remarkable 1.4x increase in CPU performance, a substantial 2x boost in graphics performance, and an impressive 3.5x enhancement in AI performance compared to its predecessors, as validated by Intel’s research. The SOM-2533 module is equipped with integrated LPDDR5 on-board memory, a dual 2.5G LAN with TSN, and a dual CANBUS interface. These integrated features facilitate seamless end-to-end communication and maintain compatibility with the prior generation. Furthermore, the module encompasses a SERDES interface to accommodate additional LAN requirements and TPM 2.0 for heightened system security. Beyond its hardware capabilities, Advantech provides an array of software components to expedite system development, including SUSI API (iManager), Yocto BSP, and Ubuntu OSi. Each standard SKU of the SOM-2533 module also includes DeviceOn, a feature enabling remote management that effectively reduces labor costs by up to 50%.
