New Advantech Single Board Computers: Intel® Atom® x7000E, N-Series and Core™ i3 N-Series processors in focus

Our technology partner Advantech, a global leader in embedded IoT solutions, presents two new single board computers: the MIO-5154 (in 3.5″ form factor) and the MIO-2364 (in 2.5″ form factor). These are based on the latest Intel® Atom® x7000E series, N-series and Core™ i3 N-series processors (codename: Alder Lake-N). The new processors offer a significant performance boost over their predecessors, with a 1.4X improvement in single-thread performance, a 1.2X improvement in multi-thread performance, a 2X increase in graphics performance and a remarkable 3.5X increase in AI inference capabilities. Thanks to their compact dimensions, robust design concepts and fanless system cooling, the Mio-5154 and MIO-2364 are optimal solutions for upgrading embedded and industrial applications to future-proof edge AI applications.

MIO-5154: Edge devices in miniature format - no compromises

The MIO-5154 is a powerful single-board computer in a compact 3.5-inch form factor that offers a wide range of connectivity options. With dual Ethernet, six USB ports, six UART interfaces and support for three independent displays, it is extremely versatile. Particularly impressive are the three M.2 expansion interfaces, which can support WiFi/Bluetooth, 5G/LTE and SATA/NVMe SSD at the same time. Thanks to the integration of AI vision at the edge and an internal USB 3.2 camera module, the MIO-5154 significantly simplifies system design. In addition, an innovative thermal solution improves heat dissipation and contributes to more compact and cost-effective cooling. The MIO-5154 is ideal for various applications such as retail, medical and factory automation.
