The SOM-2533 module represents a significant leap in computing power, offering up to 8 cores. From Intel’s benchmark tests, there is a remarkable 1.4x improvement in CPU performance, 2x improvement in graphics performance, and 3.5x improvement in AI performance compared to previous generations. This exceptional performance is complemented by integrated LPDDR5 onboard memory, dual 2.5G LAN with TSN support, and a dual CAN bus interface, ensuring seamless end-to-end communications and backward compatibility.

The SOM-2533 includes a SerDes interface for additional LAN requirements, meeting the diverse needs of IoT applications. It is also equipped with TPM 2.0 to enhance system security and protect sensitive data and critical operations.

Yet Advantech doesn’t limit itself to hardware. The company also offers a number of software components to speed up system development. These include SUSI API (iManager), Yocto BSP, and Ubuntu OSi.
